Minneapolis City Council announces intent to disband police department


The majority of Minneapolis City Council members, who have no objection to the veto, announced at a rally in bauderhorn on Sunday that they were planning to disband the police department.
City council members said they would invest in community-led safety initiatives instead of the police department.
